Amelia's story began when she and her sibling wandered onto someone's property in rural Georgia, searching for safety and care. They had been living outside — no place for a vulnerable puppy who just wants love. Despite her rough start, Amelia is an incredibly sweet, gentle, and submissive girl. Adoption fees cover basic vetting, rabies (if puppy is old enough), distemper/parvo vaccinations, deworming, monthly heartworm prevention while in our care (if old enough), monthly flea/tick prevention while in our care, and transport costs. To be considered for adoption you must submit a questionnaire at https://k-9lifesavers.org/howtoadopt. The adoption process is almost always completed within one week from when you submit your adoption questionnaire - times can vary depending on your location, the dog’s location, and availability. Once approved, you will need to finalize your adoption by completing an adoption contract and paying the adoption fee in cash or check. At that time, available medical records will be provided along with a variety of other information.
