Puma's Story
Since I'm a long stay pup, my adoption fee has been reduced! Visit me today to find out my favorite treats and how you can take me home!

Puma is a friendly, affectionate girl with a heart as big as her adorable, pouty face. Found as a stray, she has quickly shown her sweet nature, being gentle and welcoming with everyone she meets-staff, volunteers, and visitors alike. While she can be a little anxious in care, her loving personality shines through once she feels safe and comfortable.

At this time, we recommend Puma be the only dog in her new home so she can settle in confidently and thrive with her human family. Puma is looking for someone patient and kind, ready to give her the love, reassurance, and attention she deserves. She's full of potential to be a loyal, loving companion to the right person.

On my #BoroughBreak, we...
We played in the backyard, watched some tv on the couch, and took a nap on the couch. Puma loved relaxing inside on the comfy couch and loved sniffing around in the backyard. She also loved getting treats and knew exactly where they were.

My Boroughbreaker writes: I'd describe Puma as a diamond in the rough. She is incredibly sweet, loving, and affectionate, and once she gets comfortable with you, her personality really starts to shine. She has a very endearing way about her and clearly enjoys being around people.
Puma is still figuring some things out and would benefit from a little training,, but I don't think that takes away from what a special dog she is. She has so much potential and seems like the kind of dog who will really blossom once she feels secure and knows what to expect.
She also appears to be housebroken, which was a nice surprise. During our time together, she did very well and seemed to understand that outside was the place to go.
One of my favorite things about Puma was how loving she was. After our walk and some time outside, she was happy to relax and spend time together. She seemed just as content hanging out with me as she was exploring, which made our movie time especially sweet.
Overall, Puma was a wonderful companion for the day. She has a lot of love to give and a really sweet personality that I think will only become more apparent as she gets comfortable Primary Color: Brown Secondary Color: White Weight: 50lbs Age: 2yrs 3mths 2wks Animal has been Spayed
