Puma's Story

Meet Puma. He is approximately 4 years old. He is up to date on all vaccinations, has been neutered and heartworm tested negative. We believe he is a Pomeranian/Chihuahua mix.

We don't believe Puma had the best life prior to arriving at the rescue. He is doing well at our meet and greet events on Sundays, but it will take him time to learn how to trust his person. He will need a home where his owners will need to understand that a lot of patience will be required for him to blossom.

Puma would prefer to be the only dog in the home. He can be food protective and is not a fan of being crated.

Puma loves kids. Because he is such a young dog, we are looking for an active family possibly with kids (over 8) that he can grow up and run around with.

Puma will require a fenced yard.

If you are interested in meeting Puma, he will be at Pet Supplies Plus in Howell (2649 E. Grand River) on Sundays from 11-2 at our Meet and Greet event.

It is helpful for you to bring pictures and/or videos of your backyard fenced area. Additionally, it would be helpful for you to bring your other dogs as well so that we can see the interaction between them.

To complete a pre adoption application go to https://tinyurl.com/LETS-PreAdopt

We do not typically do day of adoptions.

No out of state adoptions.

Adoption Fee $350 (payable by cash, check or Venmo)

Kids 8 and older.

Minimum age to adopt is 21.
