Pudge

Introducing tiny 6.5 lb Pudge! This little guy was surrendered to the shelter after his owner no longer wanted to care for him. Matted to the skin with long curled nails, it was clear his owner really hadn't cared for him in quite awhile! He may be small but this 11 year old's personality is larger than life! He is a wonderful companion who is extremely loyal, well behaved, and house trained. He is very vocal and loves to bark when you come home and let you know how much he missed you! Pudge recently had some teeth extracted during his dental surgery, but he is adjusting well and has a great appetite for soft/canned food! He has a heart murmur that was evaluated by a cardiologist. His heart looks great and he does not need medication. However, we recommend regular vet follow ups to make sure this boy stays healthy!<br/><br/>Pudge loves to be the center of attention! He has a big heart and is great with everyone he meets including dogs, cats, and children! Pudge loves to sleep by your side and trots happily behind you everywhere you go. His curiosity is endless! He does great with getting up and down steps, but can get tired and loves when you offer to pick him up and carry him around. He walks well on a leash. Pudge has never had an accident in his foster mom's home and does his business with no delay. He is used to getting out every 4-5 hours. He has been a joy to care for and has so much love to give!!!
