I am a survivor of a painful past, and now I'm looking forward to the promise of a wonderful future with a loving family in a forever home. <br/><br/>I am house trained and leash trained. I don't like being confined to a crate, but luckily I don't need to be. Because of my past trauma, it takes a little time for me to trust new people, so I may be a little shy at first. Once I am comfortable, I promise your patience will be rewarded with my unwavering love and loyalty. I am playful and friendly. I get along with other dogs and cats and with older, respectful, children who will give me time and space to feel comfortable with them. My new forever home needs a fenced yard (at least 5 feet tall) for me to run and play in. Another canine companion would be wonderful, but I will do fine as an only dog as long as I get plenty of playtime and attention from my people. <br/><br/>Will you be my hero?
