Princess Peaches

SPECIAL NEEDS - MEDICAL CASE PET

This brave little beast of a chihuahua lived the first portion of her life with highly unregulated diabetes which left her with severe eye sight issues and major health complications. When she first came into rescue she was pretty bad off and we nearly lost her the first week. Over the next few months she struggled with a severe bout of pancreatitis amongst other health challenges. Our team has worked hard to ensure she had the best chances possible for her future and we are happy to report that now with a strict specialty diet and corrected insulin dosages she is thriving.

Princess Peaches is dog, cat and kid friendly. She is very vocal about what she wants when she wants it and although she struggles to see she is super adventurous so someone has to keep a close eye on this little one. She does struggle with pad and potty training so patience will be necessary. She loves to be held and wants to be right with her people. She is a super spunky and fun girl.

*sanctuary pet -
-only diabetic specific experienced adopters will be considered
-adopter will be required to agree to diabetic and dietary health needs
-adopter must agree to health checkins and be financially capable of special needs case care
-rescue reserves the right to decline applications for any reason
