Pekingese do not do well if they frequently have to walk on flights of stairs; It is too hard on their backs. Please arrange ramps or carry your Peke, carefully supporting their rear end. Personal references, a vet reference and a home visit are required prior to adopting from Pekingese Rescue Network, Inc. We do not adopt to families with children under age 6.
