She’s more of a “I know exactly what I want and I’m going to let you know about it” kind of princess. <br/><br/>And what does Her Royal Highness want? Attention, affection, snacks, couch cuddles...and occasionally a little audience for her very important opinions. She can be quite the talker when she has something to say!<br/><br/>Princess is incredibly sweet, smart, food motivated, and absolutely loves her people. She’s also a serious couch snuggler once she knows you’re her person. She may be short on legs, but she is NOT short on personality!<br/><br/>Princess has shown signs that she wasn’t always treated well in her past, so she can be fearful and needs people who understand that trust is earned. She is currently working with a trainer and is doing really well. She’s eager to learn, picks things up quickly, and has already made some great progress — including becoming more comfortable around some men. That said, she still naturally feels most comfortable around women.<br/><br/>So what kind of kingdom is Princess looking for?<br/><br/> An all-girl household would be right up her royal alley.<br/><br/> A home with a dog-savvy, understanding guy who is willing to let her take things at her own pace could also be a great fit.<br/><br/> A calm, predictable household. Princess does best when life is fairly quiet and routine, so she’d be happiest in a home without young children. Older teens could be a possibility, especially if they’re respectful of her space and the home isn’t a revolving door of friends coming and going.<br/><br/> A confident, patient person who will continue working on her training and help her understand that she is safe, loved, and never needs to be afraid again.<br/><br/>She’s housetrained, does wonderfully in her crate (she’ll even put herself in there when she wants some quiet time!), loves other dogs, and is perfectly happy sharing her kingdom with cats. <br/><br/>Princess may have some royal expectations, but honestly? We think she’s earned them. She’s been through enough, and now she deserves a home where she can be spoiled, snuggled, and loved while she continues learning to trust.<br/><br/>She doesn’t need a prince to complete her story.
