Princess's Story
Meet Princess
This beautiful 3-year-old, 28-pound American Eskimo mix has overcome more than most dogs ever will—and she’s done it all with grace, bravery, and a tail that never stops wagging.

When Princess first arrived at Main Line Animal Rescue, she was mostly blind and suffering from a painful eye condition caused by neglect. Since having her eyes removed, she’s finally pain-free and blossoming into the happy, confident dog she was always meant to be.

Princess doesn’t let blindness slow her down one bit—she’s a total pro at mapping out new surroundings (her foster family says she’s like a little Roomba!). Once she learns her environment, she navigates it with ease, curiosity, and just a touch of that Eskie independence.

Her favorite things? Squeaky ball toys—she loves to chase them gently and collect them in her bed like treasures. She also adores exploring the yard, nose to the ground, happily sniffing every inch of the grass. She also loves napping — sometimes in her bed, other times pretty much anywhere on the floor!

But above all, Princess is an affectionate soul who melts into your hands and leans in with her whole body for love and reassurance. She’s sweet, resilient, and ready to share her huge heart with a family who will cherish her for the amazing dog she is.

If you’re looking for a loyal companion who will remind you daily what courage looks like, Princess is waiting to meet you. Princess is in a foster home so please fill out an application at www.mlar.org/adopt-application and we will put you in touch with the foster family to do a meet.
Kennel #2857
