Princess's Story

Meet Princess! This sweet pup was surrendered in La Paz, Mexico in 2024 and has traveled over 1,500 miles to find a new life. Princess is around two or three years old we estimate and weighs around 45lbs. She is currently in foster care in Portland, Oregon waiting patiently for her perfect family.

Princess hangs out all day with dogs of all sizes playing in the sun and pool at our shelter. She loves when our volunteers take her for weekly walks, and is amazing with our kid volunteers as well when they go to give her love and affection. Princess is a sweet pup who is has a good medium energy level. We think she would love to play in the lakes and streams in the PNW, as well as be a couch potato watching netflix with her hoomans. Princess has a little experience with cats, but is very playful and can be scary to her cats friends when she gets excited. She is crate and house trained, walks well on leash, and is a star at the dog parks. Princess would make the perfect companion for almost any home, and cannot wait until her people find her. Princess is excited to spend the fall in the PNW, and is hoping to be home with her new family for this holiday season!

All of Saving Baja Paws dogs come with a fantastic foster-to-adopt option. This unique opportunity allows you to ensure that the match between you and the dog is perfect. Whether you're considering fostering or adopting, we'd love to hear from you.

Princess's adoption fee for Oregon, Washington, or California is $400USD.This helps us cover most of her vet and care costs incurred in Mexico, and the transport fee to bring our pups over 1,500 miles to the PNW. All our dogs come spay or neutered, with all theirs shots for the year, and have had multiple blood tests done prior to entering the USA from Mexico.

All our pups come fully up to date on shots, are tested for heartworm and other diseases, microchipped, fecal tested, current on flea medications, and also come spayed / neutered.

Please Apply >> savingbajapaws.org/application
