Purchased on Craigslist as an 8-week-old puppy, Ziggy spent nearly nine years as a cherished family companion before being surrendered to Shelter Hope due to a move.<br/><br/>Ziggy is a truly sweet boy with excellent manners and a kind, soulful, easygoing personality. He does wonderfully with kids, travels well, and remains calm and relaxed on walks. While he has always been the only dog in the home, he has been friendly and respectful with the other dogs at our facility. <br/><br/>In new situations, Ziggy may take a little time to settle in, which is completely understandable after such a big change. Once he feels comfortable, his affectionate and loyal nature shines through. He loves gentle pets and snuggles and has a quiet, comforting presence that makes him a joy to have by your side.<br/><br/>His previous owners let us know that he is not very food motivated and is used to eating his meals from the floor.
