Prince's Story
ID 59317621
Meet Prince! This chestnut colored stocky physiqued boy of 2 yrs of age found himself at the shelter after his person dropped him off at a “boarding” establishment and then, never came to claim him. They tried to contact numerous times but to no avail. Although we are sad he had to come to us, there was good information passed along.

Prince is a spunky boy that is all about toys. He will look for them and if around, they become more important than treats. He will play a good game of tug but his favorite are balls. He will fetch between 2 of them running excitability as if each throw is the first. He does tend to be a bit protective of his toy balls so working on release is on his “to do” list. He also can be jumpy wanting to get one from you so he is working on “sit” until it is thrown or given to him. He would learn so much quicker with guidance and consistency in a home setting. Many dogs have a drive for toys, and with proper training and fair play, they learn to give up so they can have more fun! Training is amazing to create this bond.

Prince does love a good belly rub especially after getting his exercise in. He has the cutest face and eyes but you know they often say “hey, let’s go get my toys…”
Due to his “prey drive “, it was stated he not live in a home with cats or small animals. It states he seems to prefer the lady canines over the boys at times, but he just needs to find the right match for him, (we require a meet /greet with any resident dog).

He does love walks, adventure and does pretty good on leash. It’s states he is crate trained, housebroken (an adjustment time is needed with a new home schedule/environment) and enjoys car rides. He has done well at events, and enjoys meeting new people. He has no problem accepting pets, and will give you the best look with those big beautiful eyes.

Prince will need some “fine tuning” in his new home but he is willing if he can bust out of the shelter. He did live with children but we recommend a home with respectful kids and toddlers might be too much in the beginning as he settles in.

If you can give Prince a new place to call his own, come on down and meet him.
Have any question?
