PRINCE's Story

Sweet boy Prince was an owner surrender due to no-fault of his own Prince was going to be euthanized for space along with the fact that he was heartworm positive and had an eye issue. Thankfully, Dallas Animal services did entropion surgery. His eyes are now fixed, and he sailed through heartworm treatment no complications. This sweet guy made it out of the shelter against all odds and has turned into a real gem his foster says. He is up to date on all his shots, along with being crate trained and potty trained. He does well socializing with all dogs, including medium, large, and small dogs, both male and female dogs. He gets along and is very playful with the other dogs. He is treat and food motivated, but not food aggressive. He rides well in the car and enjoys walks along his fence backyard. His energy level is medium. He would most likely not be a good apartment dog. His ideal home would have a fence yard and be able to either play in his backyard and or have a doggy buddy however, a doggy buddy is not a requirement. He could be with a family that has school-age children, a couple or a single person if they include him in their daily adventures. He does know commands, including sit, come, heel for leash walking, and taking treats gently. This sweet boy is around 2 to 3 years old and weighs between 58 and 64 pounds. He is a diamond in the dog world!
