Pride's Story

It doesn't have to be Pride Month to bring Pride home with you!

Meet Pride! Pride is a 2 year old pittie who can't wait to meet you! Pride is a little nervous to be here at the shelter but he warms up to people quickly! He enjoys going for walks and being loved on by his humans. He is such a cuddle bug once he gets the wiggles out and gives the best puppy kisses! Pride knows how to sit and give paw, and will wait at the door when asked before going outside. We can't guarantee he is house trained but he keeps a pretty clean kennel. Pride has met other dogs here at the shelter and he is always interested in making friends! He has also met some of the shelter cats and is very friendly with them. If they aren't interested in playing with him, he loses interest quickly and leaves them alone. The one thing that seems to make Pride uncomfortable is small children. If you have small children, we will need to schedule a meet and greet with them prior to adoption. Pride is very unsure how he feels about tiny humans and we want to make sure everyone is comfortable and safe!

Questions about Pride? Give the shelter a call at 812-376-2505 or email us at animalcareservices@columbus.in.gov

Interested in adopting?
