Pri - wants to be your lap dog's Story

If Pri could tell her story, it would be a sad tale. She came into rescue as a puppy after being found with both of her front legs broken. A kind Samaritan brought her to the local vet clinic where she spend months in recovery. Thankfully, she is now a healthy, happy girl and is receiving lots of TLC in foster care. Her injuries left her with a slight hitch in her gait when she runs, but she gets around just fine.. .

Pri is now 1 year old and weigh in at 55 pounds. She will likely be in the 60 pound range at full maturity. She is crate and leash trained and does not have accidents in the house. She gets along fine with with the other residents dogs. She has not been observed around cats, but would probably coexist fine with a friendly dog savvy kitty.

Typical of the GSD breed, Pri is a smart girl. She wants to please and learns quickly. She's very friendly and greets everyone she meets happily. She loves playing fetch with her ball, taking dips in the doggy pool, chewing on ice and sitting on her foster mom's lap. There are no children in her foster home, but with her sweet, nonaggressive disposition, we think she will make a great addition to an active family with kids old enough to respect and interact with a young playful dog.

Pri has been spayed, micro-chipped and is up to date on her vaccinations. Her doggy bag is packed and she's ready to head for her forever home. If you are a GSD lover who would like to give the darling girl the happy life of fun and adventure that she deserves, please email Chris at rescue3@earthlink.net for an application. Her adoption fee is $400. She's waiting to fill your days with joy and sweet kisses.
