Pretzel is the kind of dog everyone is hoping to find, easygoing, affectionate, and just happy to be part of the family. This local little guy was surrendered due to the family having too many pets. He is around a year old, about 17 pounds (and actually smaller than he sometimes looks in photos!). He is likely some sort of chihuahua mix… but whatever the mix is, it works. 😊<br/><br/>Pretzel has a calm, peaceful demeanor that makes him an absolute joy to have around. Pretzel is perfectly content lounging nearby, curling up in your lap, or (his personal favorite) burrowing under a cozy blanket for a nap. If you’re looking for a professional snuggler, he’s already mastered the job. Pretzel is quiet for car rides, but does get a little car sick.<br/><br/>Pretzel has great house manners. He is both house trained and crate trained. He has lived with dogs, cats, kids, and even birds. He got along wonderfully with them all. He’s the kind of pup who just fits in wherever he goes without much fuss.<br/><br/>Overall, Pretzel is an all around good boy with a gentle soul and a big love for comfort and companionship. He is current on vaccines and prevention, and microchipped. His adoption fee is $300. To meet Pretzel, please submit an application at www.k9kindnessrescue.org/adopt. As a reminder, we are not a shelter location and require a scheduled meet and greet.<br/><br/>Adopters must live within 175 miles of the Quad Cities. All pets currently in the home must be routinely kept up to date on shots, prevention and fixed to be approved for adoption.
