Pretty Boy grew up in the same heartbreaking hoarding house as the others, surrounded by filth, neglect, and the constant struggle to survive. He was never walked, never held, never shown that life could be gentle or kind, and only ever let outside for a brief moment each day.<br/><br/>What sets Pretty Boy apart is his stature — he’s the tallest of all the dogs from that home, and it seems to give him a quiet boost of confidence. He carries himself with a little more boldness, a little more presence, as if saying, “I’m here, and I matter.” Beneath that height and confidence is the heart of a dog who has endured far too much and is finally ready for someone to see him, love him, and give him the home he’s always deserved. He loves to play with other dogs and goes into a play group of about 30 dogs. He also has been decent on a leash but is still learning.
