We just want to take a moment to brag on Preston! He's housetrained and keeps his bed and toys in neat order! Never makes a mess and politely eats his breakfast. <br/>Preston is a handsome 2-year-old German Shepherd-Husky mix who's ready for a brand new start! <br/>He's fully vetted and looking for either his forever home or a foster to love him while he waits.<br/>Preston is a gentle, affectionate boy who bonds very quickly with his person. He loves people and enjoys being around dogs of all sizes. He's not a rough-and-tumble player - he's more of a "hangout and chill" kind of guy. <br/>And true to his Husky side... he's a big talker! Preston loves to "chat" and always has something to say - you'll never be lonely with him around!<br/>We're not sure how he is with cats , but he'd do best with older kids since he's a big boy who loves to jump up and give hugs.

At Journey’s Legacy Rescue, our goal is to match every dog with the perfect forever home. To ensure the best fit for both our dogs and adopters, we follow a structured adoption process: 1. Submit an Application The first step is to complete our adoption application. This helps us learn more about you, your household, and what you’re looking for in a companion. 2. Application Review Once your application is reviewed, our team will contact you if you are approved to move forward. 3. Meet & Greet If approved, we will help you set up a meet-and-greet with the dog you are interested in. This allows you to interact with the dog and make sure it feels like the right fit. 4. Finalize Adoption If the meet-and-greet goes well, you will choose a day to bring your new family member home. At that time, you will: Sign the adoption contract Pay the adoption fee. Transport fee of up to $200 applies to areas if more than a 2-hour drive dependent on the distance. From there, your new best friend will officially become part of your family! ???
