Presley's Story
Meet Presley – A Retired Cowgirl Ready for Her Next Adventure

Presley is a former working cattle dog who’s hung up her boots and is now learning the joys of indoor life. She’s swapped wide-open pastures for soft blankets, cozy corners, and plenty of snuggles—and she’s loving every minute of it.

At around 5 years old, Presley is in the sweet spot: old enough to have wisdom and manners, but still young at heart. She’s learning the ropes of being a house dog in her foster home and making great progress every day. She truly wants to please, and with gentle guidance and a bit of patience, she continues to grow into her new role as a companion.

Presley adores other dogs and would thrive in a home with a canine playmate. She loves to romp and run with her dog friends, but once the zoomies fade, she’s ready to curl up next to you—her head on your lap, eyes full of love, saying, “I’m here for you.” She bonds deeply and thrives on connection. More than toys or treats, what she really wants is a person to call her own.

This girl is not cut out for city life. Presley would do best in a rural home—ideally with space to roam, a yard or some land, and plenty of quiet. She’d be a wonderful companion for someone who gardens, hikes, or has a hobby farm. She’s a natural guardian and protector, both for people and animals, and she takes that job seriously.

Presley is:
-Potty trained
-Crate trained and sleeps through the night
-Excellent on leash and has strong off-leash recall (no tie-outs, please!)
-Active and intelligent—she needs daily engagement to stay out of mischief
-Quiet, observant, and always eager to learn

She would do best in a calm home with consistent structure and kind-hearted humans. She’d be a great snuggle buddy for older kids. Presley learns quickly by watching others, so a home with another dog or two would help her continue to adapt and thrive.

Presley isn’t just looking for a place to stay—she’s looking for her person, her pack, and a life filled with love, adventure, and belonging.
Could that be you?

Presley is spayed, microchipped, up to date on vaccinations, and her adoption fee is $400. She is currently being fostered in Culver, OR.

Apply for Presley at https://www.herduneededahome.com/adopt-a-dog
Questions? Email: hunahapps@gmail.com
