Does chase to play with them. Would be easier in a house with no cats

Meet Pelvis Presley! She was originally brought into animal control when a good Samaritan found her. Unfortunately she was terrified while running loose and unfortunately was hit by a car. She did have a broken pelvis. Fortunately it has healed with some exercise restriction is now able to work up to normal activity. She'd likely benefit from some joint supplements to help prevent the likely arthritis that may occur after this injury. She's not quite able to stretch that leg out as well as the other, but it does NOT slow her down. She wants to run/jump and play like any other puppy. However, she is not super energetic and would do fine with regular walks. No long runs needed.

She's a sweet "pocket pitty" that loves her person. She's currently being fostered in family with a 2 year old child, 2 female dogs (1 small and one large) and 2 cats. She does well with the child and the dogs. She likes to chase and play with the cats, she has shown no aggression towards them. However, she could easily stress out not super dog friendly cats. She still needs some work on socialization and can be slow to warm up, but she is huge cuddler once she becomes attached. She is currently attached to the mom in the house, but does well with everyone. She has separation anxiety so she would love someone that is home often or even able to take her to work. She will be your shadow around the house.

She takes time to warm up to new people. She is still working on house breaking, but is only improving. She will also use a pee pad if one is offered.

She is spayed and up to date with her core vaccines.

Who doesn't want a fun size pitty as a house companion!

Please consider adopting Presley!

***PLEASE READ*** WE DO NOT RESPOND TO PETFINDER OR EMAIL INQUIRIES. Please fill out an application on our website if you are interested in adopting this dog. We will only set up a meeting with the dog once you have an approved adoption application. Speak for the Unspoken's Adoption Policy
Before completing our online application please read the following: Our adoption process involves multiple steps and it typically takes up to 2 weeks from the time we receive your application to the time your adoption is finalized. We reserve the right to deny any application without explanation. All of our dogs and/or puppies are in foster homes. We do not schedule “Meet and Greets” without an approved application. Our Adoption Fees start at $325 per dog, $75 per cat or kitten. We can adopt an animal ‘out of state’, but you must be willing to travel to where the pet is being fostered, and transport the animal yourself after the adoption. If you have other animals (dogs/cats) in your home, they must be up-to-date on vaccinations, heartworm testing and prevention (dogs), and spayed/neutered. We will verify this with your veterinarian. If your animals are not up to date, your application will be denied. Please make sure to fully complete your application; leaving questions blank or not including all requested information will delay your application. Once your online application is submitted, it can take our volunteers 5 to 7 business days to process it. If we have questions about your application, we will email you. Please make sure to add our email, adopt@speakfortheunspoken.com to your email so our messages do not end up in your spam folder! Once your application is approved by the processors, it is sent to the person fostering the dog you have applied for. They will make the decision on whether the animal that you applied for is the right fit for you and your home. They may also choose to initially contact you via email or phone. If you do not respond promptly to their email or phone call, they will move on to the next applicant. Your application will be saved on file for 1 year and will be used for all dogs you would be interested in that time-frame. No need to keep filling out applications! Adoption application approval means you are approved to adopt an animal from us, it does not mean you are necessarily approved for the animal you applied for. There may be specific circumstances in your home that do not make it a good fit for one animal, but it may be a fine fit for another.
