Prayer is a young male dog with lots of love to give and is full of funny quirks. He is incredibly friendly, and loves to make new friends both human and canine! Prayer is an affectionate and loyal dog who will protect you and your family. He's a gentle guy who loves to play and explore when he's not lounging on the couch. Prayer is an energetic and hilarious goofball who will keep you entertained for hours. He loves kisses and is always up for a game of fetch. With his silly personality, Prayer is sure to bring a smile to your face. He's a true entertainer who loves to make everyone laugh. Prayer is an all-around great dog and is ready to find his forever home.<br/><br/>Prayer is a loving, energetic, curious little guy that wants all the cuddles and enjoys playing fetch! He will literally bring you the ball or toy back and listen to sit commands before throwing and going after it again. He loves car rides, always ready to load up in the front seat. He is definitely more of an indoors dude, he will run off if left outside unattended or at night but does like spending time outside with his fellow foster fur-babies playing tug of war with braided ropes, toys and playing in the water pool. He loves to lay his head on you, looks up with a silly face and stares just to get the face rubs. He is a character and has so many facial expressions that will have you laughing! He is pee pad potty trained indoors and will go to the door to potty outside! Crate training was too easy for him along with being dog, cat and kid friendly. He literally nuzzles his face against the cats and licks them. He is a true blessing and joy to be around!<br/><br/>The Lord called us to Prayer, March 2, 2023. His family had abandoned him in their home in Missouri City, Texas. Neighbors and a kind lady looked after him with feedings, visits and comfort. <br/><br/>When we originally rescued Prayer, he had been named Red and he didn’t quite respond to it. A few days after having him, we wanted to know more about this silly boy! We started going through Facebook where we initially had came across Prayer from being networked. We found pictures and videos of him sitting in an empty house, looking as sad and lonely as he could be. In one video, that kind lady was visiting with Prayer in the home he was left in and stated she had named him Prayer because she was praying someone would come for him! Who knew he would be our very first to actually fall under our rescue and named “Prayer”<br/><br/>Gods hands and blessings are all over this boys life!<br/><br/>We contacted the kind lady and let her know how grateful we were that she had taken care of him. We wanted to honor her serving the Lord in what she did by changing his name from Red to Prayer, which he answers to every time! We play that video of of her talking to Prayer and he lights up when he hears her voice. She definitely was an Angel sent by the Lord to help this sweetheart find his fur-ever home! <br/><br/>He has thrived so much just in the weeks he has been with Paws4Christ Animal Rescue! He gets along with everyone so well.
