Praline's Story

Praline is a sweet 37-lb hound-mix girl estimated to be about 1.5 years old. She was found alone in the woods and safely rescued through humane trapping. While her past is unknown, she’s now learning what it means to feel safe and loved.

This gentle soul is still adjusting to home life and gains confidence a little more each day. She has velvety-soft fur and big, soulful puppy-dog eyes that quietly melt hearts. Praline is learning to walk on a leash and continues to make slow, steady progress as she settles into a routine.

She is spayed, up to date on vaccinations, potty trained, and crate trained. Praline does well with other dogs and would benefit from a calm, patient home. With time, love, and consistency, Praline will blossom into a devoted companion.

If you are interested in adopting Praline, please submit an inquiry directly to Greater Charlotte SPCA by visiting charlottespca.org/adopt. The adoption amount is a suggested donation of $200 to $300 dollars based on the pet's age.

**Because our rescue is composed entirely of volunteers, local applications will take precedence. We will accept out of town applications, but any family is responsible for coming to Charlotte to complete a meet and greet. All out of town applicants will also have to be willing to drive to Charlotte to pick up the pet as soon as they are approved to adopt. **
