Poundcake and Lucy Charles's Story

Lucy and Poundcake are a goofy bonded pair. They love playing together and with their toys! They are both still young, so they are full of energy. Both do well in a crate and are still working on their house training and leash training.

We don’t know their back story, but we were told they would do well in a house with cats and children. They have done well with the resident dog.

Lucy is approximately one year old and only 14 pounds, but is a little underweight, so she gleefully eats her carrots and peanut butter! She also likes to snuggle. She is black and brown with some ticking.

Poundcake is approximately two years old and a mere 17 pounds. She is a little slower to warm up to people and more timid than her little sister, but time seems to make her braver! She is a sweet little redhead with golden eyes.

Lucy and Poundcake's Webpage - (copy and paste)
https://beaglemaryland.org/2025/07/15/lucy-poundcake/

Adoptable Dog Webpage: https://beaglemaryland.org/adopt/

If you'd like to adopt one of our beagles:
*Go to our Website https://beaglemaryland.org/
*Review our Standards for Adoption - https://beaglemaryland.org/adoptionstandards/
*Fill out an Adopter Profile -
https://beaglemaryland.org/application/
and submit it to us through the site (or print it off, fill it in and send it via regular mail, if you prefer)
*A BRSM volunteer will contact you to guide you through the rest of the process!

We hope to hear from you, and so do the beagles!
