Hi! Im Potato. I was rescued from the county pound just one day before I was scheduled to be executed. Back then, I was scared and completely shut down. Im now living with my foster family, including two other dogs, a 13-year-old boy, and his mom. I love them all, but I dream of having a person or family to call my very own. Im incredibly affectionate and naturally protective of the people I love. My trainer says Im the best boy! Im eager to please, listen well, and already know commands like sit, stay, heel, and come. I walk nicely on a leash with a gentle reminder, although I can get excited when I see other dogs and bounce around because I love to play.<br/><br/>People describe me as playful, sweet, cute (I wont argue with that!), and affectionate. I absolutely love to cuddle. Every now and then I get the zoomies, but once Im home, Im happiest curling up for a nap—especially if its on your lap. My dream home is with someone who enjoys the outdoors, takes me on lots of walks and adventures, and will continue my training. I thrive when I have guidance and know Im making my person proud.
