This cute little Chihuahua needed our help so we gladly welcomed her into our rescue. She is blossoming in her foster home. If her foster Mom is sitting in her favorite chair Posey will come over to her and want to be picked up so she can cuddle next to her. At bedtime, she loves sleeping up on the bed with the other dogs. Her favorite place to sleep at night, however, is stretched out against her foster Mom underneath the covers! She is finding great joy in scampering around the house … such a difference from living in a crate. <br/><br/>Posey MUST have another dog in her new home that she can learn from. After being in a small crate with many other dogs she finds great comfort in being with them. Another dog will also help her learn how to play, run free and live the life every dog should know. Her foster home is quiet so she has been able to warm up at her own pace. She is beginning to see that she is safe and that humans can be kind and loving. Posey needs a home with retired breeder-dog experience and no children.<br/><br/>Posey has been completely vetted. She has been spayed, is up-to-date on all of her vaccinations, has had a dental and her bloodwork has been completed.
