This handsome guy is looking for his retirement home for his golden years. His owners could no longer care for him and relinquished him along with his sister Pixie.<br/><br/>Poser is 14 years old, weighs about 20 lbs., neutered, up to date on vaccines and microchipped. He is mostly house trained and good with other dogs. We don’t know about cats.<br/><br/>There’s no other way to say this. Poser is a grumpy old man! But who blames him! He is independent, likes to explore, likes his own space and to do his own thing. He does not like to be picked up, held, hugged or in his face. He will bite. Poser was raised not being held or cuddled, so he’s not mean, he just doesn’t want to be picked up. Because of this a house with no kids is best. Also, a quiet house where he can relax. It’s hard not to want to hold him or hug him because of those sweet eyes.<br/><br/>Poser is also a very sweet dog. He is mellow, playful and likes to go on short walks. He also knows sit. He enjoys car rides and will jump right in! He will come and hang around with you when he wants. He will do his own thing, but then just appear above you on top of the couch or pillow. It’s all on his terms! He is a quiet dog except when it’s time for food, then he will let you know with barking!<br/><br/>Poser and Pixie don’t seem to be bonded, so they can be adopted separately.
