Porter's Story
Porter is a survivor! This boy was rescued from being stuck in a fence somewhere in Browning. Our friend who rescues animals there pleaded with us to take him in and we said "yes, of course!" Upon intake, we feared the worst - a broken leg - as he was limping and not putting any weight on one leg. This poor boy was only about 8 weeks old and had already seen so much pain! We made him comfortable and made preparations to get him into the vet for xrays. Unbelievably, just a little over a day later, he was using the leg! We cancelled the vet visit and put him on a quality food and had a foster of ours take him in and love on him. Now in March and 12 weeks old, he is thriving! He has gained weight and has the cutest puppy belly. He is still catching up on nutrition, so we highly recommend that his adopter keep him on a quality puppy food to continue to help him catch up on development. Porter is up to date on vaccines, neutered and microchipped. He is ready for a great forever home! We are noticing that he is getting some wirey fur so we are guessing at a wire terrier/lab mix for his breed but honestly, his mix could be any number of breeds - it just makes him one of a kind! Adoption fee for Porter is $300. If interested in this cutie, please head over to our site pet-tracs.com and click on Adoption Application. Once filled out and submitted, our team will review and reach out with next steps, thank you!
