Porky's Story

Porky is a 16-week-old Lab mix, about 20 pounds, and fully vaccinated. She’s a happy, social pup who loves other dogs, people, and kids. She's currently in foster in Seattle, WA and ready for meet and greets!

Porky and her siblings were found running around a street in Añasco, Puerto Rico. We were able to take the puppies into our program to help them find safe, permanent homes, and we also spayed and vaccinated their mama for her owner.

Like most puppies her age, Porky is still working on potty training, but she’s sweet, affectionate, and eager to learn. She has that classic Lab-mix friendliness and will do great in a home ready for normal puppy energy, structure, and consistency. Porky was born with a slightly crooked tail — it’s just part of her look and doesn’t affect her health or mobility in any way.

If you’re looking for a loving, playful pup who will grow into a great family dog, Porky might be your girl. Head to our instagram @ThePuertoRicoDogFund to learn more about Porky and the work we do in Puerto Rico.
