Porkchop's Story

Meet Porkchop

He is 12 lbs of love and fluff, and approximately 5 years old!

Skills: (A) Porkchop is a pro at walking on leash - no tugging or pulling here! (B) His crate is his safe space. He comfortably settles down in his crate each night for bed, and is fairly happy to chill there while his foster parents are away from home, (C) He is currently being fostered in a house with two other dogs and has adapted wonderfully - no fights, no snarls - just foster brotherly love, (D) he's cute and charming, and a snuggling heavyweight champion (ok... maybe not heavyweight - but you get the idea)

Medical Note: Porkchop is showing signs of being visually impaired - but that doesn't slow him down. After only two days in foster care he had already mapped out his new home and was walking around confidently. He will need a forever home with parents that are willing to take it slow with him until he finds his bearings and learns his new home.

We're Working on It: While Porkchop is doing well on his potty training journey - he does still have accidents in the house. We are working with him on being 100% accident free, and have no doubt he will be there soon.

Some Final Remarks: Porkchop is a resilient little man! He was surrendered by his prior family to the ACC. He came into foster care scared and shut down, but in a very short amount of time his hilarious and gentle personality is shining through! It is such a gift to see his tail wag more and more each day.
