**Pork Chop will be ready to go home after his final vaccine on 9/19/2026**<br/><br/>Meet Pork Chop AKA "Chops"!<br/><br/>Pork Chop came to AWS from animal control after he had to be seized from his home after reports were made regarding Pork Chop’s abuse. He spent 5, long months at animal control before he was legally awarded to AC & placed up for rescue pull. <br/>We knew we had to give him a 2nd chance at the right home so we pulled him!<br/><br/>He is about 2.5 years old & weighs roughly 65-70 lbs.<br/><br/>Even after all Pork Chop has been through, we have not witnessed a mean bone in his body. He loves people and just wants attention. He is also very food motivated!<br/><br/>So far, the only negative we have seen is that he like to try to hump when he gets overstimulated, however with consistent corrections and a stern “off” he will stop.<br/> <br/>It is unknown how Pork Chop is with other animals or kids. Due to his energy level, he may not be the best fit for smaller children.<br/><br/>Pork Chop would benefit from professional training where he can learn a few manners & how to walk nicely on a leash (he’s big & strong so he does pull)<br/><br/>He is neutered & microchipped. He will be fully vaccinated prior to adoption.
