Poppy - Pending Adoption!!

*SCROLL TO THE BOTTOM FOR OUR APPLICATION*<br/><br/>Meet Poppy! Poppy is a very sweet 8 year old Husky mix who was surrendered because the newer/younger dog in the home was too much for her. Our hearts were broken for her, so we're hoping to find her a devoted new family. <br/><br/>We're told she is great with other dogs, cats and kids. Although she's still really confused here, we know she'll settle into a new home setting with someone who understands her recovery period. She may just need extra patience because she's grieving her previous owner and everything she once knew. <br/><br/>Poppy is a quiet and affectionate girl. She does well in her kennel here at the shelter, and although she seems very displaced still, it didn't take her long to nudge our hands for more tummy scratches when we hung out in her kennel with her. We think she quickly found comfort in just snuggling up next to a human. Poppy would enjoy a daily walk, but is at the age where she's likely content to hang out with you inside on a dreary day.
