Poppy's Story
Poppy is a 4 year old, 70 lb, sweet, gentle girl who may be a little shy at first but warms up quickly, especially if treats are involved. She does great with other dogs of all sizes and is a smart, eager learner who would love a home that enjoys training and teaching new things.

Poppy came to us as a mama dog (of 8 all male puppies!!) and raised her litter beautifully. Now that her puppies have all been adopted and now all grown up, it’s her turn to be someone’s baby! She’s waited far too long.

She does best in a home without cats, small critters, or young children, but she does well with respectful older kids and teens. Poppy isn’t a big fan of car rides, but she’s not a big barker and doesn’t struggle with separation anxiety.

Whether in a home, apartment, or ranch (without livestock), Poppy is ready to settle in and share her love. If you’re looking for a smart, loyal companion who’s waited patiently for her happy ending, Poppy is ready.
