POPPY

Poppy is the sweetest little thing! She is easy (not demanding) and quiet. All she wants is a lap to sit on. She follows foster mom around and waits for her to sit down. She loves to be outside, likes to sun-bathe, and short walks. She would love to be an only child but would tolerate a friend that matches her slow and calm pace (no "busy" pups for her), She does well with small children as long as they are calm and gentle with her. She loves snuggling with the foster mom's granddaughters. She seems to be partially deaf but watches everything going on! She would do best in a quiet and calm home with people who are mostly home. She is very loving! Poppy has collapsing trachea and will probably need meds in the future and only has 6 teeth now so her tongue might hang out. <br/><br/>Poppy has the cutest ears and softest fur ever! Petting her is great! She is estimated as 8 years old and is 12 lbs. She seems to do fine on a leash but recommend use of a harness because of her trachea. She is doing well with the potty routine and knows that I will open the door and let them out often, so she waits but she may also understand the doggy door. Poppy is fostering in Mesa AZ.
