MEET POPPY! POPPY is a six year old female English Pointer/Cattle Dog mix who weighs about 40 pounds and is spayed, vaccinated, and microchipped. POPPY enjoys the companionship of other dogs, and enjoys napping in the sun, playing outside, and curling up near her family. POPPY is housebroken and trained to take her business into the yard. As such, POPPY has not had extensive leash experience and is not quite sure how to react to other dogs when out on walks. Due to POPPYs breed, she would do best in a home with a fenced in yard and a family or human who is quite active as she would make a great hiking or running buddy! It is important to note that POPPY would be best in a home with children over the age of 13 as she tends to want to herd her "little people" and play "alpha" to them.
