Poppy's Story

Meet Poppy

Poppy is a young female dog bursting with energy, joy, and enthusiasm for life. She's the kind of pup who wakes up every day ready for adventure-whether that's going for a walk, playing with toys, or soaking up love from her people.

Poppy already knows how to sit, and she's eager and willing to learn more. Her bright personality and curiosity make her a great candidate for continued training, and she'll thrive with positive reinforcement and an active family who enjoys teaching and bonding.

She would do best in a home that can keep up with her playful spirit and give her plenty of exercise, mental stimulation, and affection. In return, Poppy will reward you with endless tail wags, happy energy, and lots of love.

If you're looking for a fun-loving, trainable companion who will bring joy into your home, Poppy might be the perfect match

Fill out a Match Me form online at: https://www.shelterluv.com/matchme/adopt/CAST/Dog to be pre-approved.

Our adoption fee is a minimum $150 tax deductible donation. C.A.R.E. Animal Rescue's Adoption Policy
All animals are spayed / neutered before they are available for adoption. This helps reduce pet overpopulation in the Ozarks - the highest in the country. Each animal is current on vaccinations. Both dogs and cats must receive three total sets of vaccinations to prevent deadly animal diseases. All animals at C.A.R.E. are kept current on their vaccinations while in our care (All animals are vaccinated for Bordetella or "kennel cough", DA2PPV, CVK-puppies, DA2PPV, Lepto-adult dogs, FVRCP-C-kittens & adult cats). Dogs and cats above the age of 12 weeks old also receive their rabies shots and are sent home with a rabies certificate, collar, & rabies tag. If a puppy or kitten is adopted before they have received the total three vaccinations, it is the responsibility of the adopter to provide them. Each animal has been dewormed and treated for fleas. Worms are parasites that can cause serious damage to your pet. C.A.R.E. deworms all of the animals in our care.
