Poppy's Story
Meet Poppy!

Poppy appears to be a medium sized mixed breed of some sort, possibly a McNab, but we really aren't sure. She weighs a bit over 50lbs and the vet estimated her age at around five years old.

Poppy is incredibly sweet, her nature is to be near a human and she is so soft and cuddly. She could play fetch all day and loves to drop the ball in your lap to make sure you know it won’t throw itself. While she likes to be active she is not high energy and can also sit at your feet while working for hours.

She is definitely shy at first, but we found this passed quickly. She is good with other dogs (occasionally she is possessive of toys) but we have not seen her interact with cats or young children. She is crate trained, but she’d rather sleep on a sofa or in a bed.

Poppy loves going for walks and she is great on leash. She has the cutest little habit of getting excited and spinning in circles and chasing her tail when she's happy.

**Please note: Indigo Rescue only adopts to homes within 30 miles of Beaverton, Oregon.
