With her beautiful short coat in shades of yellow, tan, blonde, and fawn, Poppy turns heads wherever she goes. But it’s her heart that truly shines.

Poppy came to us from the Yakima Reservation, where she was found pregnant and bravely preparing to bring her puppies into the world. She’s been an incredible mama, raising her little ones with patience and love. Now that almost all of her pups have been adopted, it’s Poppy’s turn to find a forever family of her own.

Personality:
Poppy is the total package—friendly, affectionate, loyal, smart, playful, curious, athletic, and funny. She LOVES giving kisses and is always up to meet new people with a wagging tail and a goofy grin. Whether it’s hiking a trail, cruising in the car (her favorite!), or cuddling up for movie night, Poppy is all in.

Poppy is also working on her confidence around other dogs and can be reactive, on leash or in busy environments. With proper training, structure, positive reinforcement , and patient, understanding humans, she would absolutely thrive.

Favorite Things:
• Car rides (her absolute favorite!)
• Snuggles and belly rubs
• Watching out the window, waiting for you to come home
• Exploring and being your sidekick on adventures

Ideal Home:
Poppy would do best in a home with no other dogs and with older children (12+) who can appreciate her size and playful nature. She’s house-trained and ready to move in and start her new life.

Why Adopt Poppy?
Because what’s not to love? She’s the full package of loyalty, love, and laughter.
