Poppy's Story
Almost everyone was chosen… Poppy is still waiting.

Meet Poppy (formerly Chica), a 6-month-old Lab mix weighing about 55 lbs. She is one of only two sisters left from her litter still searching for a home. While the rest of their siblings were adopted, Poppy has not received a single application — and her sister is still waiting too.

Poppy was found at just 4 weeks old living in a culvert in rural Texas with her mom and littermates. Despite such a heartbreaking start, she has grown into a sweet, loving, and resilient young dog who is ready for a fresh start — even with a new name to match her new chapter.

She’s affectionate, gentle, eager to please, and at the perfect age to bond deeply with her future family. Poppy has watched sibling after sibling leave, and now only she and her sister remain, patiently waiting to be noticed.

These girls have been waiting long enough.

They deserve the same chance at love as the rest of their litter.

Please consider applying to adopt..

If you are interested in adopting Poppy, please fill out an application!
https://linktr.ee/Thewyattproject
