Poppy is a 23-pound Australian Cattle Dog/Beagle Mix. She is around 9 months old and is a fun loving and joyful dog. We anticipate that Poppy will remain this petite size. Poppy loves to play with the other dogs in her foster home & cuddling once she is tired. She really enjoys going for walks, chewing on bones, and playing with toys. She is crate trained, potty trained, and knows how to sit. She is a little timid of men & meeting people on hikes. She quickly warms up to strangers, but still needs practice passing others on trails to become more comfortable. She may chase cats but means them no harm. Homes with older children suggested in that she gets excited and may nip little fingers. She is hilarious and a true joy to have around.
