Poppy's Story

Poppy and five of her siblings came to DHPR on March 27th. They are from a litter of 10 that were surrendered when their owner was moved into an elder facility. They were believed to be about 5-6 weeks old then so their birthday would be mid-February.
Crate trained, potty trained, leash trained. Spayed/chipped and utd on vaccines
Foster Mom says…IDK where to start! I can’t say enough good things about Poppy!
She is the sweetest thing. She listens, she’s patient, calm, she plays independently and loves her big foster brother. They play together so well.
He’s three and about the size of a lab and is super gentle with her. She absolutely loves mealtime and she loves everybody she meets. She is super excited to see everybody when they come over. She is good with kids and adults. She hasn’t met a lot of dogs yet. She can be a little timid at first but warms up fast.
**Breeds are a best-guess***
***If you are interested in adopting Poppy, please fill out an application available on Destination Home Puppy Rescue's Facebook page or via the "More About Us" button on this page.***
***We only adopt to homes/families in NC and SC***
