Meet Poppi! She is as sweet and bubbly as her name suggests! Poppi was found abandoned on a rural road in North Louisiana. She weighs 50 lbs and is estimated to be around 1 year old. We think she is Labrador x Black Mouth Cur mix. <br/><br/>Poppi is smart, curious, and has that perfect balance of energy and chill. She loves long walks, jogs with her human, and playing with other dogs! Her foster home has six dogs, from a senior Chihuahua to a big Lab mix, and Poppi fits right in. She’s also respectful with dog-savvy cats. Poppi loves meeting new people and is quick to make new friends of all species. If you are looking for a dog who enjoys doggie day care or dog parks, Poppi is your girl! She is a social butterfly who loves going to doggie day care and is a staff favorite for her easy-going temperament. <br/><br/>When she’s not out exploring, Poppi is happy to curl up on her dog bed and take a well-earned nap (she takes her beauty rest seriously). All this sweet girl needs is a home! <br/><br/>Poppi is currently in foster care in North Louisiana, but we welcome out of state adoptions. We have an amazing transport that delivers all along the East Coast... PA, NJ, CT, NY, VT.<br/><br/>PAWS of NE LA was formed back in 2003 and we have been sending our special Southern dogs to wonderful homes up North since 2010.
