Penny is a medium-sized shepherd mix, approximately 4-years-old and 65lbs, who is looking for her human soulmate. She is a sweet, loyal soul who loves to love and be loved, and hopes youll think shes as awesome as she thinks you are. Penny is very smart and people-focused, which will aid well in additional training. She knows sit, is house trained, walks OK on a leash, and rides wonderfully in the car - but could use fine tuning on her obedience skills (ie not jumping when excited, recall). Additional training will also help her to feel and move more confidently in the world. Her ideal home is one with a backyard, without cats (non-reactive dogs are OK), and where shell get to be part of your daily life. A true companion dog! She is not leash reactive to children however she has not been tested in home with children, and does jump so small children are not recommended.
