Pooh came to us extremely starved of both food and love, and while his past is a little heartbreaking, he hasn't let it define him. With time, care, and patience, he's turned into a thriving, happy boy who is so ready for his forever home.<br/><br/>Pooh is the definition of a lovable pup. He's a total people pleaser—smart, eager to learn, and happiest when he's with his humans. He's highly food motivated (training will be a breeze!) and has lots of energy to burn, so he'd do best in an active home that can keep up with his love for long walks, hikes, and adventures. He's also crate trained and fully housebroken, making him an easy addition to a home ready to continue his success.<br/><br/>He's done well with other dogs and enjoys making friends, and with the right introductions, he could be a great companion. Because of his past, Pooh can get a little extra enthusiastic around food and high-value items, so continued work on boundaries will be important—but he's already making great progress.
