Pony Girl's Story

Pony Girl is one of the Outsiders puppies. These babies were found soaking wet and shivering in freezing rain, stuffed inside a Rubbermaid tote at a gas station while a man told passersby they all had "to go today.” No shelter. No mom. No plan. Just four tiny puppies running out of time.

Now safe and warm, these pups are about 6–7 weeks old, fuzzy, ridiculously cute, and finally gaining weight—right around 5 lbs each. They’re playful, curious, and soaking up everything they’re learning about being loved. Her foster mom describes Pony Girl as "pure sweetness."

Mom was said to be a heeler mix, though that’s unconfirmed, so their future size and look are a bit of a mystery. What is certain: they’re resilient little souls who are going to make incredible companions.

Adoption fee: $500 (includes vaccines to date, microchip, and spay surgery)
Apply at www.lakesideanimalrescue.com
