Pongo's Story
Pongo is about a year and a half old, and his journey has already had some ups and downs. He and his brother were first found as young pups in the Simpsonville area. Over the summer, we’d see Pongo and his foster parents at a few dog events while they were fostering him through another rescue.

But like so many rescues lately, that organization had to close their doors… and suddenly Pongo and his foster family weren’t sure what was next. We couldn’t let him fall through the cracks, so we officially brought him into our rescue as a foster.

And honestly… we’re shocked he hasn’t found his forever family yet. Pongo is the whole package. He’s handsome. He’s affectionate. He adores playing with other dogs. He’s good with cats. He’s great with kids. He’s one of those dogs that just fits.

Pongo recently completed training at Astro Kennels. We call him our new Cinderella dog—because all he’s missing is his fairytale ending. And we’re determined to help him find it.

If you are interested in adopting Pongo, you can begin the process by submitting an adoption application on our website at www.dogsquadsc.org/adopt

Adoption fee: $100

Follow us on social media:
-Instagram: @dogsquad_sc
-Facebook: @dogsquadsc
-TikTok: @dogsquadsc
