MEET PONGO!!! My friends describe me as: Friendly, Playful and Goofy Pongo is a beautiful black dog with brains and charm! He’s sharp, friendly, and always eager to engage with his people. Whether it’s learning new things, going for walks, or soaking up attention, Pongo is the kind of dog who makes every day better just by being around. With his good looks and bright personality, Pongo is ready to be someone’s best friend for life. Come meet him in Brewster! Pongo is currently up to date on all vaccinations, has been neutered, microchipped and seen by our vet team. For more information on Pongo or any other animal currently residing at the Animal Rescue League of Boston, please call us at 617-426-9170. We welcome adopters from NH, RI, CT, and NY. However, we will be unable to facilitate same day adoptions due to state regulated paperwork requirements.

Animal Rescue League of Boston's Adoption Policy

We require the following as part of the adoption process: - We welcome adopters from NH, RI, CT, and NY. However, we will be unable to facilitate same day adoptions due to state regulated paperwork requirement. - Adopter must be 18 years of age or older - A photo of the cage your pet will live in, if adopting a small animal or bird - Adopters are responsible for bringing their own travel carrier to bring home all adopted cats, guinea pigs, rabbits, ferrets, chinchillas, and other small animals or birds of a larger size. All ARL Animal Care & Adoption centers offer new travel carriers for sale ($35 – $40 depending on size), along with gently used carriers, as supplies last ($10).
