Pongo

Pongo is one of a pair of the sweetest, most loving dogs to arrive in rescue. Pongo and his sister, Candy, will need to find a forever home together. They were picked up as strays a week apart but in the same location and based on their excitement when seeing each other, they were determined to be littermates. <br/> Pongo is around 1 1/2 years old. DNA test results came back as 50% Scottie, 13.9% Labrador Retriever, 12.2% Australian Shepherd, 12% Boxer and minimal Bluetick Coonhound and Pembroke Welsh Corgi. Pongo is taller than your typical Scottie but overall has the basic Scottie body. After just a little over 2 weeks, Pongo learned to run to the back door when the bell is rung to come in. He gives kisses, loves kids, adults, enjoys playing with other dogs and according to his foster mom, is almost perfect. Pongo is almost completely housebroken, heartworm negative and recently neutered.
