Poncho's Story
Poncho is lovely 2.5 year old mixed breed pup and is one of our longest stays here at the Susquehanna SPCA. He was originally found as a stray in Georgia, and was transported to our shelter in June of 2025. <br/><br/>In his time here, we've really gotten to know Poncho and his personality. He is incredibly nervous around new people, and does not approach them. Poncho will need a patient adopter who will give him time and space to open up to them. <br/><br/>What really brings Poncho confidence is being around other athletic and outgoing dogs. He turns into an extroverted, playful guy, that is on top of the world! If you need a playmate for your current pup, Poncho might just be the perfect fit. He needs the comfort from another dog to show him that humans are okay and it's good to let loose!<br/><br/>Through kind donations, we were able to have a DNA analysis for Poncho.
