Ponchito

Ponchito’s story began on the streets near Los Poetas Avenue, nestled close to the hills. He and his brother Luca were the only two survivors from a litter born to a frightened mama dog who was doing her best to protect them. Their rescuer tried to help the whole family, but their mama was too scared to be caught, and heartbreakingly, the other puppies didn’t make it. Just Ponchito and Luca pulled through. Luca has since been adopted, and now it’s Ponchito’s turn to find his forever home.<br/>Ponchito is a sweet, chubby little guy with a heart full of love. He’s calm, affectionate, and playful in just the right measure—happy to romp around or simply sit by your side. He’s great with other dogs, gentle with kids, and friendly with everyone he meets. Obedient and easygoing, Ponchito is the kind of companion who brings peace and joy wherever he goes.<br/><br/>He’s currently living in an outdoor shelter, so he’ll need a little help with house training—but with his eager-to-please nature, he’ll catch on quickly. What he needs most is a patient, loving home where he can feel safe, cherished, and finally rest his paws for good.<br/><br/>If you’re looking for a loyal friend with a tender past and a hopeful heart, Ponchito is ready to meet you. Ponchito is currently in an outdoor shelter in Nayarit, MX so will likely require some house training. <br/><br/>He ready to be adopted either locally or to fly with a flight angel.
