Pomsky--Gigi's Story

Beautiful Gigi is a 3-year-old Pomsky. She came to us as a breeder release and is still adjusting to life in a home. Gigi is very shy and still unsure around people, but with time, patience, and a gentle approach, she's starting to show her sweet personality. She follows her foster mom around the house.

Because she's still building trust, Gigi will need an experienced, patient adopter who can help her gain confidence at her own pace. She will do best in a quiet home without children and a secure fenced yard where she can safely explore and decompress. Gigi is working on leash training and will need continued practice in a safe, low-stress environment.

Gigi loves other dogs and feels most comfortable when she has a confident, playful companion to follow. Another friendly, high-energy dog in the home will be essential for helping her feel safe and encouraging her to engage and play.

Gigi has recently been diagnosed with Kidney Disease and Inflammatory Bowel Disease (IBD). She is on daily medication and a prescription diet to help manage her conditions. Her adopter will need to be committed to maintaining her care plan and scheduling periodic vet checkups to monitor her health.

Despite her challenges, Gigi has a gentle and loving heart. She's a special girl who needs someone kind, patient, and devoted — someone willing to give her the time she needs to blossom into the loyal, affectionate companion she's meant to be. With the right person and a confident canine friend by her side, Gigi will thrive and finally know what it feels like to be truly loved.

Her adoption fee is $450. Gigi weighs 20 lbs and has been spayed, vaccinated and microchipped.
